About the Bath Christian Festival

This is the third year in which the Bath Christian Festival has run in the Parade Gardens, Bath. The previous events were in 2015 and 2016, and we are expecting to build on the success of these events!  It was a FREE event, and all were welcome, whether believer or not!

The event

The event featured the ever popular Gospel Music band ECHO, who performed in the last two festivals. There were also local people telling their stories of faith - some of which were quite remarkable! And Scott McNamara, from Northern Ireland, who was the main speaker, told his own remarkable story - for more information about him see here.

In addition to all this, there​ were marquees with displays from local and national Christian organisations, including our own, local, well-regarded Genesis Trust. Also, the Full Gospel Businessmen, Gideons International, Street Pastors, HOTS (Healing on the Streets), CAP (Christians against Poverty), 100 Men, SAT-7 (a Christian satellite broadcaster to the Middle East and North Africa), and Open Air Campaigners were all represented at the event.  

First Aid and Security

We were very grateful to the British Red Cross, who provided First Aid cover for the event, and to UK Guarding Management Ltd, of Bristol, who provided professional security cover for the event.

Organisation

The event was organised by the the  local "Stepping Stones" group, a ministry of "International Gospel Outreach", a UK registered charity.
